Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller has reacted to emulating the iconic Cristiano Ronaldo and becoming only the third player to tot-up 100 wins across the Champions League era.
Muller, 34, was a late substitute for the Bundesliga champions during their pulsating 4-3 victory over Manchester United at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night. He came on for the final three minutes to help them see out the result and join Ronaldo and Iker Casillas in hitting that three-figure mark.
Ronaldo played 183 games in the marquee European competition for United, Real Madrid and Juventus during his record-breaking career. He was involved in 115 wins.

His former Real teammate - goalkeeper Casillas - took 177 matches to record 101 victories and Muller became only the third man to hit that particular milestone when Bayern overcame United on Wednesday night. Boasting a few more wins than all-time greats such as Lionel Messi, Xavi and Karim Benzema already, the German star was making his 143rd appearance in the competition with his overall tally for Bayern standing at 671.
Reacting to that achievement on social media, the 123-cap forward and World Cup winner uploaded pictures from the United game on to his Instagram profile and added a short caption. It read: "Wow! Without these amazing guys next to me this would not be possible. Thank you to all my teammates."
Bayern were 4-3 winners in their Group A opener with United as goals from Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, Harry Kane and substitute Mathys Tel settled the scores. Rasmus Hojlund and Casemiro (2) replied for United.
