This Morning host Phillip Schofield was left stunned when co-host Rochelle Humes made a cheeky dig about his age live on the show. During today’s episode of the ITV programme (Tuesday 25 January), the pair were discussing guests, pop duo Hue and Cry.
Phillip, 59, then went on to recall the last time he saw the Scottish singers, explaining to Rochelle it was way back in 1987 when he hosted popular children’s TV show Going Live. You can sign up at the top of the page.The Cube host continued: “We reckon the last time I saw them might have been 1987 in the Going Live studio, which used to be just around the corner from here.” After listening to Phil’s anecdote, 32 year old Rochelle, then asked: “Do you want to know something really real?” “That was two years before I was born!” the Saturdays singer continued with a giggle, “I didn’t want to do it, but I felt I had to.” As Phil looked shocked and became noticeably lost for words, fellow guest Gok Wan started laughing loudly at Rochelle’s comment. But Phil chose to hastily move on from Rochelle’s cheeky dig, and instead tell viewers what was coming up on the rest of the show, including the show’s soap segment with Sharon Marshall.
