Kobbie Mainoo: Had things gone according to plan, teenage Mainoo would have been welcomed into the first-team in the early months this season, but he suffered an injury during their pre-season programme. Handed a late Premier League debut in the Everton win, Mainoo oozed class from the moment he first touched the ball in that competition and United have a real player on their hands. The 18-year-old has been given a run of games following that introduction and his emergence has been a plus point in a campaign of not too many.
