Following Monday night's 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic in the fourth round of the FA Cup, attention now switches to Sunday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur for Manchester United.
The Reds started 2024 with a routine win over the League One Latics, booking a fourth round date with either Newport County or Eastleigh at the end of January. The two aforementioned clubs go head-to-head in a third round replay next week.
But before manager Erik ten Hag can start planning for the next round of the FA Cup, he needs to try and ensure United get back to winning ways in the league this forthcoming weekend. The Reds lost their last league outing a little over a week ago, being beaten 2-1 by Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

That marked a fourth defeat in their last seven Premier League matches. Following the reverse on the banks of the Trent, Ten Hag vowed that United would improve and start climbing the table once they had recovered members of the squad through injury.
The Reds are expected to welcome several key figures back at some point this month, including the likes of Lisandro Martinez and Mason Mount. With that said, MEN Sport has taken a close look at the current state of play on the injury front ahead of the tussle with Spurs.
Martinez was filmed back in first-team training at Carrington last week, training alongside the rest of the squad. He has been sidelined since September after undergoing a second round of surgery on a recurring foot problem.
