Police have launched yet another raid in Cheetham Hill's notorious Counterfeit Street - this time to tackle traders who 'operate below the radar'.
The warrant executed this morning - captured by police drone footage - was on a much small scale than previous high-profile operations in the Cheetham Hill and Strangeways areas, which have seen police and trading standards seize fake designer gear worth £39m.
Acting on intelligence that suggested the unit was being used to store counterfeit clothing for onward distribution and online sales, the raid on a warehouse on Bury New Road in Cheetham Hill uncovered £15,000 in cash and five tonnes of counterfeit items.

The latest 'Operation Vulcan' raid follows ten-months of intense police work to clean up the area.
Greater Manchester Police said the warehouse was continuing to operate despite its 'relentless activity in the area'.
A statement said: "Those involved in this enterprise appeared to not have seen the news that Operation Vulcan were still pursuing anyone involved in the counterfeit trade and organised crime."
A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of money laundering. He remains in police custody for questioning.
Following the operation, Sergeant Dan Cullum, one of Operation Vulcan’s specialist officers, said: "Whilst this unit may have been much smaller than some of our previous raids, I hope this is a reminder that we are committed to uncovering any remaining warehouses, shops, or distribution centres who are attempting to operate below the radar.
