Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has addressed her future of the ITV soap after confirming the arrival of her third child. The actress was last seen on screen in Corrie, where she plays Fiz Dobbs, back in May.
The Underworld machinist was seen packing her bags before leaving her family behind as she was offered a new job. Viewers of the long-running show saw Fiz being offered a supervisor role by Stephen Reid, telling her it was double the salary she was on - but was based in Norwich.
Fiz was then seen packing her case for Norwich before in the factory, Izzy Armstrong and Kirk Sutherland offered Fiz their support while Evelyn Plummer and the girls later waved Fiz off as she left with new husband Tyrone for the station. While in real life, the scenes marked the start of Jennie's maternity leave.

While the little one's arrival came earlier than expected, Jennie held off publicly announcing the birth – just as she did with her pregnancy which she didn’t reveal until six months – preferring to stay in her newborn bubble with her husband Chris Farr for five months before introducing her to the big wide world.
