I’ve been coming to the gym for a few years now."In his spare time, to keep fit, he also goes hiking, plays badminton and cycles and, most recently, moved a treadmill into his home.He captioned the pic: "5K a day," adding there were now "no excuses" for him not to work out.Alan has regularly talked about eating before and after workouts, telling The Sun: "I like to come (to the gym).

Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has revealed that Alina Pop returning to Weatherfield with Tyrone Dobbs' child would be a "great storyline".Alina left Weatherfield last year after ending her relationship with Tyrone.However, she kept it to herself that she was pregnant with his baby and the mechanic it still none the wiser.Speaking to Daily Star and other press about Alina's potential comeback, Alan said: "That's a very clever thing the writers did there, sending her off in that way."Of course it leads into a future storyline but right now Tyrone's thoughts are all about Fiz regardless of what kind of comes knocking on his doorstep."For me as an actor it would be a great storyline. Would it be soon? Probably but that could be something further down the line.He added: "If that is a story in the future I'll try and tackle it as best as I can."Tyrone left his long-term relationship with Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) after falling for Alina but things didn't go to plan.He now wants to win back Fiz but the factory worker has since found love with newcomer Phill Whittaker (Jamie McKenna).Tyrone becomes suspicious of his love rival in upcoming scenes.He calls at Phill’s house to collect Fiz's things next week, hoping this now means he'll be reunited with Fiz.However, a row ensues and as Tyrone makes a grab for Phill, they lose their balance and fall headlong into the wet cement on the patio.

Coronation Street Andy Whyment was left red-faced when he got confused with the name of his co-star of 14 years, Gary Windass actor Mikey North.The actor, 41, recently went out with his soap pals for their Spring Party, the casts' first big get-together since before the pandemic.Andy, who has played the show’s Kirk Sutherland in the ITV soap since 2000, posted a selfie on Instagram alongside co-stars Tyrone Dobbs actor Alan Halsall, Phill Whittaker actor Jamie Kenna and Gary Windass Actor Mikey North.The lads enjoyed a pre-game pint in the selfie before they headed off to the glitzy Spring Party with the actor captioning, “Pre @coronationstreet party drinks with @alanhalsall @thejamiekenna and Mickey North.”However Andy failed to realise in the caption, which has since been edited, he called his friend of 14 years’ Mikey "Mickey" instead.Corrie pals found the hilarious side to the mistake and went to the comment section to make some jokes about the blunder.Among those to call it was Samia, Andy’s on-screen sister, who asked: “Who’s Micky??” with crying laughing emojis.Kel Allen, who recently left the soap in heartbreaking scenes as Laura Neelan, also said: “Oh Micky you’re so fine, you’re so fine, you’re so fine oh Micky.....
