Tyrone Dobbs will be issued an ultimatum in Coronation Street next week as his wife Fiz finally returns. She left the cobbles in early 2023 as she landed a new job.
The Underworld machinist was offered a supervisor role by the now late serial killer Stephen Reid, telling her it was double the salary she was on but that it was based in Norwich meaning she'd have to leave Weatherfield behind if she took it.
Fiz did decide to take the job but it was all part of actress Jennie McAlpine's temporary exit as she headed on maternity leave to welcome her third child and it was in August that the soap star confirmed her and her husband Chris Farr's daughter's arrival, when she was five months old.

Doris was born just before midnight on April 4, 2023, at Manchester's Wythenshawe Hospital, weighing 7lbs 11oz. She is a little sister for Jennie and Chris' two older children, Albert, eight, and four-year-old Hilda.
Last month, nine months after her third child's arrival, Jennie was seen back on Corrie's Salford-based set as taking to Instagram, Tyrone actor Alan Halsall posted a snap of the pair in their fictional home alongside their on-screen family - Dame Maureen Lipman (Evelyn Plummer), Claire Sweeney (Cassie Plummer), Isabelle Flanagan (Hope Dobbs) and Billie Naylor (Ruby Dobbs).
