Coronation Street fans horrified by upcoming deepfake porn storyline for popular character

Coronation Street is reportedly lining up a huge storyline for Abi Franklin, played by Sally Carman-Duttine, who will become the victim of deepfake sex tapes in upcoming scenes.
The videos, doctored by AI, will be sent to her boss Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) at the garage which will most likely leave Abi’s job and reputation under threat. A source spoke to The Sun about the story: “Scriptwriters are always keen to reflect what’s happening in the world. Abi was caught up in the dark world of drugs and is desperate to find out who’s behind the videos.

One lighter storyline for Sally came later in 2021 when Abi and Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) tied the knot - much to the delight of viewers. But in 2022, Abi went into labour in the side of the road as she had no idea she was pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy - Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) was the father.
