Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to adopt a more ruthless transfer policy going forward, with ageing players possibly shown the door ahead of time. The INEOS chief also owns OGC Nice and so connections have been made with a potential Todibo approach.
Ratcliffe may be co-owner of United but as majority shareholder of the French club he would still want a good price for the 24-year-old, whose contract does not expire until 2027. Todibo has insisted that he won’t let transfer talk detract from helping Nice claim a top-three finish in Ligue 1, but has refused to rule out a summer exit.
"It's always like that. During winter there are requests. I'm very calm about it all,” he recently said about exit speculation, as per the Daily Express. “I am at Nice and we're having a great season.
