Luke Shaw is a doubt for Manchester United's trip to Luton Town on Sunday but Erik ten Hag will give the left-back as long as possible to prove his fitness.
Shaw was withdrawn at half-time of the win against Aston Villa last weekend as a precaution but he is still struggling with the niggle he felt during that game and is in a race to prove he can play against the Hatters.
Victor Lindelof came on to replace Shaw and with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrell Malacia also injured, United might only have one fit full-back in Diogo Dalot this weekend.

"Luke is doubtful for the weekend but we are positive he can make it. He came out as a precaution, it was the right direction. We work until Sunday," said Ten Hag.
Wan-Bissaka picked up an injury in training and is out for a couple of weeks, while Mason Mount and Malacia are also several weeks away from being fit to return.
"Aaron Wan-Bissaka will take some weeks because he picked up another injury in training last week. Mason and Tyrell will take some more weeks," said Ten Hag.
The United manager revealed Malacia had suffered a setback since his initial return to training on the grass as he tries to get back from a knee injury picked up in the summer.
"He had setbacks during his rehab process, it takes too long, it’s bad for him, bad for us," said Ten Hag. "But now we turned a point and it’s positive and he will return soon on the pitch. It won’t take long before he’s returning in team training."
