Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick confirms Victor Lindelof has Covid-19 and explains Mason Greenwood recall

Victor Lindelof is the latest Manchester United player to contract Covid-19.

Lindelof suffered an episode in United's last match at Norwich 16 days ago and had to wear a heart monitor but the club confirmed it was unrelated to the Covid outbreak in the first-team squad.

The 27-year-old was conspicuous by his absence for the Premier League fixture at Newcastle, where Raphael Varane has returned to the starting line-up for the first time since sustaining a hamstring injury at Atalanta on November
