Cat Deeley will front This Morning alongside Ben Shephard from today (Monday, 11 March), much to the delight of fans.
The presenting duo are now the permanent hosts of the hit ITV show, which has been fronted by a series of guest hosts ever since Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield quit last year. Speaking about her return to UK breakfast TV, Cat said: "This Morning is a national institution.
Whenever it’s on, it’s like having your friends over - funny, smart, silly, heartfelt, informative and joyful - like all the greatest friendships! "This Morning is and always will be the viewer’s show. Ben and I both know how much people love it, and with the help of an amazing team of people, we’re going to do our best to take care of it." But away from the bubbly presenter on our screens we all know and love, Cat revealed a sad admission which was her "biggest regret".
Cat, who has been married to Patrick Kielty since 2012, shared that she feels really sorry that her grandad never saw her get married. She explained that her grandad was too sick to attend her wedding to Patrick Kielty in Rome, so they made a video of it for him.
Sadly, he passed away before he could watch the footage from their big day, reports Birmingham Live. Speaking to Grazia magazine back in 2017, Cat was asked what she wished she could change.
