This Morning's Cat Deeley has a lot on her plate. From joining the ITV show as the new permanent host alongside Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard, the 47 year old is also currently overseeing a huge home renovation project. According to reports, Cat and her husband, Irish comedian Patrick Kielty, paid £4.9 million for a rundown property in Hampstead, intending to transform it into a mid century Malibu style home.
It's said the architecture of America's West Coast is the couple's inspiration, having lived there for years while Cat presented the US dance reality competition show, So You Think You Can Dance. In one Instagram Stories video, Cat was seen visibly shocked by the scale of the work that needed to be done, as she panned the camera around to reveal scaffolding, a missing roof and half knocked down walls.
During one of the shots, Patrick could be seen laughing and waving as he stood amid the chaos. Plus, photos submitted as part of their planning application showed the house in a run down state, with plaster peeling off the walls and rubble strewn all across the garden. But, when they were given the green light to "renovate, extend and upgrade" the five bedroom home, a design statement from the couple's architect
