ITV Good Morning Britain viewers divided over Ben Shephard's exit show as some make same remark

Good Morning Britain viewers have been left divided over Ben Shephard's last stint hosting the programme. The presenter was at the helm of the ITV news programme on Friday (February 23) for the last time with Kate Garraway as he leaves after 10 years.
It was revealed last week that Ben is now the new co-host of This Morning alongside Cat Deeley. The pair will replace the ITV daytime show's previous main hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby following their sudden exits within months of each other last year.
Since Phillip and Holly's departures, ITV has been testing a number of hosts and presenter combinations before choosing their permanent duo. Cat last fronted This Morning back in November alongside both Rylan Clark and Craig Doyle, while Ben last hosted the show in September alongside Holly before she quit in October.

Ben's co-host Richard Arnold has confirmed that Ben and Cat will officially start their This Morning gig on Monday, March 11, while Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary continue to present their usual Friday show, which gives Ben a bit of a break as he finishes GMB with two weeks to go until starting his new job.
Appearing on Friday with co-host Kate, 56, for his final GMB show, the duo addressed his emotional exit and new role. Kate said: "It's not even a minute past six, I just realised that's the last time we're here Good Morning Britain with Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway. I'm off already, too emotional!"
