Charity Dingle begins to unravel in new Emmerdale spoilers, as she struggles to come to terms with Harry's death after killing him to save husband Mackenzie Boyd. Mackenzie was kidnapped by Chloe Harris' father Harry, who then held him hostage in a bid to make him pay for his treatment of Chloe. Mackenzie was blackmailed into giving up his son Reuben, who he shares with Chloe.
Having found out about the danger Mackenzie was in, Chloe attempted to help him but failed. Charity then decided to take matters into her own hands, teaming up with cousin Chas Dingle to free Mackenzie. Charity ended up killing Harry in shocking scenes, and Chloe then fled the Dales in a taxi with her son Reuben, leaving Mackenzie distraught.
While Chloe managed to escape the village, Charity and Mackenzie have been left to deal with the fallout of her father's death, which will begin to take a toll on Charity in upcoming episodes. Spoilers show DS Jones pays Charity a visit and has good news to share - Harry’s death has been ruled as accidental by the authorities. Mackenzie is understandably relieved, and while Charity puts on a happy face, she is still battling with her guilty conscience behind closed doors.
It's currently unknown if Charity will confess to the murder of Harry, but it appears unlikely as she has previously spent time behind bars. Emmerdale fans will recall she was wrongly sent to prison for the murder of Chris Tate. Charity gave birth to son Noah while in jail and was eventually released after it was confirmed she'd been framed for Chris' murder.
