La Liga side Getafe are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United loanee Mason Greenwood permanently, if his current form continues.
While in Spain, Greenwood has scored four goals and grabbed three assists in 11 appearances. He completed his loan move in the summer transfer window after United decided it would be best for him to continue his career elsewhere.
The 22-year-old had faced allegations of attempted rape, assault and coercive control, for which the club suspended him in January 2022. In February this year, The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed that all charges against the footballer had been dropped.

While Greenwood has always denied the allegations, United conducted an internal investigation and it was decided that it would be better for the forward to leave. According to The Athletic, Getafe are unsure whether Greenwood will reach his previous levels but will have a conversation with the Reds if his performances continue to impress.
Elsewhere, United have reportedly made Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi their number one target for the January window. Football Insider claims the Reds are big fans of the England international and are conducting background checks ahead of a move.
The 23-year-old has been a standout player for Palace this season and his defensive displays have not gone unnoticed. It is believed Arsenal are also interested in Guehi and are open to making a move in January too.
Should either side wish to complete the deal though, it is believed a fee of £60m will need to be submitted. Guehi remains under contract at Selhurst Park until 2026.
