Manchester United are favourites to sign Germany playmaker Florian Wirtz next summer - according to reports.
Wirtz, 20, has been regularly linked with a switch to the Premier League in recent months as United and other top clubs such as Liverpool continue to 'keep tabs' on the Bayer Leverkusen man. United splashed out £183million on three players this summer - Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund - as they addressed three key areas within the squad. However, with investment from Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS pending, his minority takeover will impact their plans moving forward.

Elsewhere, reports from Sky Sports in Germany - as per this article from the Team Talk website - reckon United are ready to step up their pursuit for Serhou Guirassy when the market reopens. The 27-year-old striker has been in top form for Stuttgart this campaign with 16 goals in 11 outings.
