Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes joked that Alejandro Garnacho cannot yet be considered a 'great player' after his stunning goal in Sunday's 3-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park.
Garnacho, who was awarded his third straight Premier League start, opened the scoring after just three minutes, powering an outstanding acrobatic effort past Toffees goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. It was a sensational effort from the Argentina international, who is unlikely to ever score a better goal in his career.
Moving away from goal, the youngster connected with Diogo Dalot's cross from the right flank and his effort found the far corner of the goal. He was unsurprisingly mobbed by his teammates in celebration.

The goal, quite rightly, was the headline act of his day's work, but his overall performance was encouraging. He was a threat every time he got hold of the ball, attempting to make things happen inside the final third.
He will be hoping to use the performance and his goal as a confidence booster in the coming weeks and months. And Fernandes admitted that he has high expectations.
"I give him a good note just for the goal, but that is just because he knows that I have big expectations for him," Fernandes told Sky Sports. "He is a great player. [In fact], he is not a great player yet, but he has a great future ahead.
"We expect a lot from him, he knows that. He knows that I am always going to be behind him asking for more. It was an amazing goal."
Garnacho was crowned the Premier League's official Man of the Match, meaning he received his award after his post-match interview.
