Manchester City take on Bayern Munich in their second pre-season friendly, with plenty of significance surrounding the fixture given the uncertain future of Kyle Walker.
City want Walker to stay at the Etihad, but he has an offer from Bayern Munich and could still swap Manchester for Bavaria. Walker has been heavily involved in City's pre-season so far, captaining the side in the 5-3 win over Yokohama and also being prominent in the club's commercial activity in Japan, such as the release of the new third kit on Tuesday.
Joao Cancelo played against Yokohama having spent half of last season on loan at Bayern Munich. Pep Guardiola has kept the door open for Cancelo to return to City's first team, with Bayern offering an interesting reference point on Wednesday given he played for the German club against City the last time the sides met in the Champions League earlier this year.
Guardiola was also asked about Ilkay Gundogan and his search for a new assistant manager. Defender Ruben Dias also spoke to the media, speaking about transfer interest in Walker and Portugal teammate Bernardo Silva.
