Emmerdale fans were flooding to share the same response as some shared fresh fears for Charity Dingle. The Woolpack owner is back at home following her stint in custody for stabbing her husband Mackenzie Boyd.
As viewers of the ITV soap know, Charity has been secretly struggling with the fact she has killed somebody after saving her own life and Mack's during a confrontation with villain Damon 'Harry' Harris.
She has been struggling to sleep, double checking her home is always locked and jumping at loud noises ever since she shot the villain, who was also Chloe Harris' dad in self-defence and last week, as she fell asleep on the sofa, she suffered another of her night terrors.

After falling to sleep on the sofa after she was triggered by more nosy goings-on in the pub, Charity started to incision Harry and so when Mack tried to wake her up, she thought he was the dead villain and after keeping a knife with her, ending up stabbed her partner.
She was taken into custody while Mack fought for his life in hospital. But both have since been released and Mack is desperate for Charity to let him in but she refuses, scared she'll hurt him again.
Charity is also pushing her family away but during Wednesday night's (February 28) trip to the Dales, Cain Dingle arrived at Jacobs Fold ready to talk to Charity, but she made it clear that she didn't want to see anyone and would much rather numb her problems with a bottle of vodka instead.
