Emmerdale has confirmed Kerry Wyatt's return to the village - and she makes quite the entrance. It's been over a year since the character, played by Laura Norton left the village in late 2022 in the wake of her fiancé Al Chapman's death.
As viewers of the ITV soap will remember, the businessman was accidentally shot by Kyle Winchester as he had a heated confrontation with Kyle's dad and his long-term enemy Cain Dingle after he discovered his affair with his sister Chas Dingle.
Cain took the blame for his young son's actions after Al died but soon the truth was revealed about Kyle's involvement. Struggling with her loss, Kerry landed a job on a cruise ship and encouraged by Chase, she packed up her things and left both of her daughters, Amy and Chloe, behind, at the time completely unaware of what Al had been up to behind her back.
