EastEnders legends will be left 'fighting for their lives' as fire destroys iconic venue

EastEnders fans have been left distracted as an explosive bombshell was dropped on the show ahead of the huge Christmas murder storyline. During the episode, which aired on Wednesday, 13 September, Chelsea Fox and Ravi Gulati tried to pull both of their families together as they marked moving in together. However, as fans will remember earlier this year, Chelsea's mum, Denise Fox and Ravi had a fling, and it nearly resulted in the end of Denise's marriage with Jack Branning.

EastEnders star Brian Conley has seemingly fallen out of love with the role of Tom 'Rocky' Cotton, and will depart the BBC soap later this year. First appearing back in May 2021, Rocky became a major player amongst the denizens of Walford after tying the knot with Gillian Taylforth's character Kathy Beale. But according to The Sun, the show's writers are now scrambling to come up with a worthy ending for him and may even be tempted to bump Rocky off in the Christmas murder plot.

EastEnders fans are hoping Kat Slater and Alfie Moon are set to rekindle their romance, after they shared a number of sweet moments in Monday evening's episode, 11 September.
