Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier said that his EastEnders character Freddie Slater is just like him as they are both “cheeky” and “crave a sense of belonging”. Bobby, who is the eldest son of the late Big Brother star Jade Goody and TV personality Jeff Brazier, joined the BBC soap in 2022 and quickly became a fan favourite. When Freddie first arrived on Albert Square, he was on the search for his real father who he thought was Billy Mitchell at the time.

She said: "The day that the Bobsta was paired with the Buzzer outside the Queen Vic and of course Beale's Plaice. "Genuinely feel so lucky to be dancing with this lovely human and we're both very excited to show you our Charleston tomorrow night!!!" She then tagged in Bobby, Eastenders and Strictly.

EastEnders fans think they have spotted the Christmas "murder weapon" after the Beale and Knight families went to war on Thursday night. While the weapon in question certainly won't be the one that is used during the festive episode, it is almost identical to the one that can be seen in the flash forward episode, which aired back in February.The item that eagle-eyed viewers spotted is a champagne bottle, which George Knight handed over to Ian and Cindy Beale on Thursday, 28 September.
