Lacey Turner teases another EastEnders icon could return from the dead at Christmas

EastEnders fans think they have spotted the Christmas "murder weapon" after the Beale and Knight families went to war on Thursday night. While the weapon in question certainly won't be the one that is used during the festive episode, it is almost identical to the one that can be seen in the flash forward episode, which aired back in February.The item that eagle-eyed viewers spotted is a champagne bottle, which George Knight handed over to Ian and Cindy Beale on Thursday, 28 September.

EastEnders fans will remember the face of bad boy Dean Wicks, played by Matt Di Angelo, who was caught up in some brutal storylines during his time on the BBC soap. Matt, 36 has secured a string of TV roles over the years including regular roles in Hustle and Ordinary Lies, but his time as Dean on EastEnders is by far his most memorable. He first arrived on Albert Square in 2006 before he had a shock exit two years later, but in 2014 made a triumphant return.

Strictly Come Dancing 2022 finalist Molly, 22, arrived in Walford in June as big-hearted Anna Knight, when her dad George (Colin Salmon) moved into The Queen Vic with his wife Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe). A bombshell storyline saw her hire a private detective to find her long lost mum Rose only to discover Rose started life as Cindy Beale (Michelle Williams) and met their dad in witness protection.

EastEnders fans had to do a double take on Monday as Lola Pearce lookalike Nadine arrived in Albert Square, following her tragic death earlier this year. Newcomer Nadine looked the spitting image of Lola, who died from a brain tumour, with her blonde locks tied up in a ponytail and a pair of oversized hoop earrings - Lola's signature look. Her arrival in Walford on Monday, 18 September, took Jay Brown - Lola's widower - by surprise and he later got chatting to Nadine in the Queen Vic before walking her to the tube station.

Towie star Amy Childs and EastEnders actress Lacey Turner enjoyed a mums-and-daughters day out with their little ones on Sunday, 17 September. Reality TV legend Amy, 33, became a mum of four earlier this summer when she gave birth to twins Billy River and Amelia Mae, joining Polly and big brother Ritchie, from her previous relationships. Doting mum Lacey, 35, who plays Albert Square's Stacey Slater, was joined by her four-year-old daughter Dusty at the launch of Aquabeads at Covent Garden Town House Salon in London.The happy mums were treated to a manicure and polish, with the little ones getting in on the action too.
