Coronation Street’s resident DJ Ryan Connor could be set to leave the cobbles behind in the coming weeks as he makes a life-changing decision. In recent weeks, Ryan Connor and Daisy Midgeley’s affair has started to be exposed, and next week Daisy’s fiancee, Daniel Osbourne, finds out what went on. However, Daniel decides to keep it to himself, saying that Daisy has chosen him and that he wants to forget about what happened.
That mentality comes because Ryan had the chance to move to Scotland with his partner Crystal.
In another turn of events, Ryan rejects the move after he lands a job at the gym, leaving Daniel furious. Looking ahead, Daniel looks to the future with Daisy, and he gets permission from Waterfords to look around The Rovers. He takes Daisy into the empty pub and suggests that they buy the iconic place rather than buying a flat at Redbank, leaving Daisy gobsmacked.
With the move fresh in her mind, Daisy breaks the news to former landlady Jenny Connor and Ken Barlow, who are delighted with Daisy and Daniel’s plan.
The big moves don’t end there for Daisy, as Daniel then tells her that he hopes the next step for them is Daisy adopting his son, Bertie. As for Ryan, he finally starts to realise that Daniel knows the truth about him and Daisy after Daniel makes a throwaway comment about the gym job. Ryan then rushes to tell Daisy about his suspicions and says that he thinks Daniel sabotaged the job at the gym.
He explains that when they spoke about the affair and their feelings, his camera was recording it all, and he could have seen it. Despite all of that, Daisy tells Ryan that she thinks he is overthinking things, but the guilt starts to get to her when she returns home. As Daniel talks about their little family
