ITV Emmerdale double exit 'sealed' after Mackenzie Boyd makes life-changing decision

Emmerdale aired shocking scenes on Friday night as Mackenzie Boyd lied to his partner Chloe Harris, before making a decisive confession to his secret lover Charity Dingle. As fans of the ITV soap will know, there's been a love triangle between Chloe Harris, Mackenzie Boyd and Charity Dingle over the last year. Mack, played by Lawrence Robb, has seemingly been waiting for the right time to break up with Chloe while continuing to sneak around with Charity.
But in Friday's episode, Mackenzie became insisted he couldn't carry on. So he headed straight for The Woolpack to see Charity, where he dropped a confession that will leave Chloe heartbroken. Spoilers have teased the show's double exit as Chloe plans her revenge to run away with their baby son.
Mack kept up the ruse with Chloe by offering to accompany her to the hospital for her brain scan results, while guilting Amy into staying behind to watch baby Reuben. After receiving her clear MRI results, Chloe said she was feeling better and wanted to start planning the couple's future together - which left Mack feeling more desperate than ever. Hours later during his secret visit with Charity, Mack was in despair as he came to the realisation that he had to tell Chloe it was over, and that by tomorrow they would be finished.
Charity was shocked, wanting him to wait but Mack said he couldn't lie to her any longer. He told Charity: "I hate this sneaking around all the time. Stringing her along is cruel, I can't keep up with this lie for the next few weeks, all I've done to her is lie.
"It's got to stop, even if it ruins Christmas for her. I'm going to tell her that it's over." When Charity asked if he was serious he said he was. He said: "I'm going to do it tomorrow." But
