Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has admitted to 'feeling sick' going back to the set more than three years after she quit the role of Bethany Platt. It was rumoured over the summer that the actress was set to reprise her role in the ITV soap after welcoming her first child into the world.
Her first scenes back will air just as the New Year begins in Weatherfield, a year after she and her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson welcomed, a son named Sonny, into the world. Rumours started in early August about Lucy's return. Shortly after the reports emerged, it seemed on-screen mum Tina n confirmed her return was true.

They posed on the sofa behind a birthday cake for Tina. "Yesterday treated to a gorgeous surprise celebration by my wonderful Platt fam," she typed alongside the sweet snap.
