Strictly Come Dancing viewers have been left saying they 'don't get it' after Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola pulled out all the stops to close the show's Halloween special in near-perfect style.
The former Coronation Street star and the Italian professional dancer appeared painted top to toe in green before dazzling with a salsa to the song Murder On The Dancefloor by Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Closing the show, Anton Du Beke called the performance "absolutely spectacular" and presenter Tess Daly also seemed surprised at the couple’s “daring lifts”.
Craig Revel Horwood also adored the dance and said "I absolutely loved that", adding that it was like a "disco salsa". Oti Mabuse called it the "dance of the night" and head judge Shirley Ballas called it "killer" and said she admired the "groove" and "movement".

Ellie and Vito ended up scoring 38 for their routine - including two tens from Moti and Shirley. But it appears Strictly fans wanted a perfect 40 for the pair.
@diane_stoney_1984 asked: "Why was that not a 40???" @jennie_from_d_block shared: "What made this performance a 9?! It should be 4x 10s!" @sharon1827 echoed: "The judges had nothing negative to say about this dance so why wasn’t it scored 40?" @taylorwilkinsonblake commented: "How was this not a 40?! Not one bad comment and not a 40? I don’t get the scoring this season!"
@janetcash44 posted: "It was Murder on the judges scores should have been 40." @michellepryde quipped: "Sorry can we call the police? We have just witnessed a robbery on national television. Ellie and Vito not getting 40! Criminal
