Strictly Come Dancing fans have said it will be a 'disgrace' if one couple don't win the competition after they 'sealed' their 2023 winner. The stakes were high in the ballroom on Saturday night (November 11) as the remaining eight couples took to the floor in a bid to make it through the Blackpool.
The annual trip to the seaside resort returns next Saturday (November 18) and will see the seven remaining couples who make it safely through during the next results show on Sunday night (November 12) perform in the famous Tower Ballroom as is now the show's spectacular tradition.
But the couples needed to succeed in week eight of the 2023 series first and it was quite the night in the Strictly ballroom. After a couple of weeks in second place, Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin topped the leaderboard once again with their fast and emotional Argentine tango to Tattoo by Eurovision winner Loreen.

However, all eyes apperaed to be on the couple in second place. After topping the leaderboard for the past two weeks, former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach slipped down by one place after wearing matching pink garments with her professional Vito Coppola as they spun around during a rumba to True Colours by Cyndi Lauper.
Motsi praised Leach for being the “perfect student” and called the dance “quality” before judges awarded a total score of 35 points. However, criticism did come from judge Craig Revel Horwood who admitted the routine was “difficult” while calling the performance “stiff”. He added: “I wouldn’t like to do that… but I have to say,
