BBC Strictly Come Dancing star becomes 'underdog' ahead of Blackpool special as they have 'advantage'

One Strictly Come Dancing star is said to have become the 'underdog' of the competition as the show prepares to head to Blackpool. Last weekend's show came with extra pressure as no one wanted to miss out on the special week that sees the BBC One dance contest head to the North West.
While the dance battle for the Glitterball trophy is still on, there was a shorter-term goal in sight for the eight remaining couples with the famous trip to the seaside resort set to return on Saturday (November 18) and will see the seven remaining couples perform in the iconic Tower Ballroom in the show's spectacular tradition.
After a couple of weeks in second place, Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin topped the leaderboard once again with their fast and emotional Argentine tango to Tattoo by Eurovision winner Loreen. Meanwhile, after topping the leaderboard for the past two weeks, former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach slipped down by one place with her professional Vito Coppola as they spun around during a rumba to True Colours by Cyndi Lauper.

But all that won't matter when they return to the ballroom this weekend live from Blackpool. And it appears Strictly fans should be keeping and eye on the 'underdog' of the competition, according to an expert.
