Adam Thomas has said 'of all the weeks' as he revealed he'd been struck down by a mystery illness. The actor was on cloud nine following his recent stint in the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom on Saturday night as he was heaped with praise and even left his brothers in tears on the sidelines.
Adam, who recently returned to the role of Donte Charles in the reboot of Waterloo Road, and his dance partner Luba Mushtuk impressed the judges with their stunning waltz to I Wonder Why by Curtis Stigers.
While Anton Du Beke said he was "speechless", Craig Revel Horwood agreed, saying: "Adam, darling, that is a bit more like it! Welcome to the competition," before Adam and Luba received 32 points to place him third on the leaderboard.

Adam and Luba were then seen making it through to another week in the competition during Sunday night's results show and it has since been revealed that this weekend, they'll be performing their couple's choice to a Backstreet Boys medley.
But things haven't started well for Adam with him admitting on Wednesday morning (October 18): "I still don't know my routine." The actor had taken to social media on Tuesday (October 17) sharing how he'd been struck down by a mystery illness.
Adam, 35, could be seen with his head in his hands and his eyes closed as he nestled into the sofa. "Of all weeks to be poorly!" alongside a sad face emoji. Then this morning (Wednesday), he posted a picture of a coffee and another glass. "Lots of Berocca and coffee today."
