BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Zara McDermott 'cried eyes out' watching first show since exit as she hints who she's backing

Zara McDermott was left 'sobbing' as she tuned in to watch Strictly Come Dancing following her exit. Saturday night's show marked the first time the former Love Island star hasn't competed in the ballroom after being given the boot following last show's Halloween special.
Zara and her professional dance partner Graziano Di Prima lost their chance to lift the Glitterball trophy later this year after their Charleston dance to Jeepers Creepers by Al Donahue and his Orchestra failed to impress. Following the usual public vote, the pair landed in the dance-off for the third time before the judges unanimously opted to save Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk.
Following the result, Zara told Strictly co-host Tess Daly: "I have had the time of my life. Just to be here is incredible. Thank you to the judges and my amazing partner obviously. My fellow contestants are just incredible. It has been the most amazing experience. I can’t believe it’s over but I am going to be here in spirit every week supporting them."

And during Saturday night's show, like many other viewers, Zara was left in tears over Annabel Croft's emotional tribute to her late husband. The former tennis star and her dance partner Johannes Radebe performed a couple’s choice dance to Wings by Birdy in tribute to Annabel's husband of 36 years, Mel Coleman, who died from cancer aged 60 earlier this year– just 16 weeks after diagnosis.
