Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has gushed over his 'gorgeous night' with his former dance partner following his surprise exit from the BBC One show. The dancer has been keeping busy and keeping his spirits up after being forced out of the dance competition.
Giovanni had to leave the hit dance contest last week after his celebrity dance partner Amanda Abbington confirmed she couldn't continue. The actress pulled out of one of the live shows due to "medical reasons".
But before she and Giovanni were due to return for last weekend's Halloween special, it was announced that Amanda would be leaving the competition due to "personal reasons". The Sherlock star later said: "It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly. I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons, I am unable to continue."

Giovanni spoke out at the time with a simple message to his celebrity dance partner. "Amanda … I am so sad we can’t continue but I am proud of what we achieved and I am sending you so much love," he said alongside a picture of the pair in Christmas pyjamas taken during Movie Week.
But while he hasn't spoken out on his premature exit from Strictly 2023 since, Giovanni has been keeping busy. Earlier this week, after months of teasing, the 33-year-old Italian-born star revealed that he is releasing his own fragrance for men and women.
