Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams has responded after a misconception about his upbringing in Greater Manchester was brought to light. The actor is currently hard at work in training as he prepares to head to Blackpool with the BBC One dance contest.

West End star Layton's fast and emotional Argentine tango to Tattoo by Eurovision winner Loreen with professional dancer Nikita on the latest episode of the BBC One dance contest received a standing ovation from judges Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse.
