EastEnders viewers were treated to some super tense moments in Thursday night's episode as Sam Mitchell left Albert Square after causing carnage at the Queen Vic After learning that she had been left a staggering £100,000 in her Aunt Sal's will - along with Phil and Grant's share - she confronted brother Phil to demand her share of the money. Unimpressed when he refused to hand it over, she decided to resort to blackmail after discovering that Phil had cheated on his wife Kat - something she learned from Alfie Moon.
Fans will remember that Phil slept with Emma Harding last year and armed with this information, she threatened to spill his secret if he didn't give her her inheritance money. On Wednesday night's episode of the BBC soap, she continued to pressure Phil into doing the right thing, but he remained firm and refused to give in.
He eventually have her a choice - leave the square for good and get the money, or stay and never see a penny. Later, Phil was seen handing over the money to Sam and telling her: "Take it, pack your bags, and get out of my life because I want you gone tonight." They had a heated row and Sam made it clear she's not one to be messed with and she's ready to take on Phil.
Later at the Queen Vic, during Phil and Kat's joint birthday bash, Sam took to the karaoke mic and dropped a bombshell - revealing in front of everyone, including Kat, that Phil had been unfaithful with Emma.
The episode on Thursday night showed the explosive fallout, with everyone telling Sam to leave. Phil was left fuming, shouting: "You and me? We're done!" as he tried to kick her out of the pub.
