Ruben Dias has offered to buy Jack Grealish's mum a new handbag after he was sick in hers during Man City's treble celebrations last month.
The Portuguese defender never usually drinks alcohol, but he promised he'd make an exception and have a couple of shots if they won the treble. Dias' teammates were quick to remind him of this after their Champions League triumph, and he stuck to his word by agreeing to have a few to celebrate.
However, things didn't go to plan for the City ace, who was already feeling rough and rundown from the travelling and emotional drain of the final weeks of the season. A City source revealed: "He said he was feeling unwell anyway because of all the travelling he’d done.

"He never drinks alcohol but had stuck to his promise to have a couple of shots if they won the treble. However, the first shot went down, and he quickly realised it wasn’t going to stay down.
"So, he moved a curtain and was sick behind it — it turned out there was a handbag there. Kyle Walker spotted it and realised it belonged to Grealish’s mum, Karen. Dias said he is trying to get his hands on a new bag for her."
The story first came to light a month ago when Ederson lifted the lid on City's treble and the lively celebrations that followed it in the days afterwards.
He said: "After a very exhausting and incredible season, only United had managed to do it, of course we have to enjoy and let our emotions out," the Brazilian said. "These are months of intense work. Who drinks, drinks. 99% of the group drank, enjoyed it. Many players ended only on Monday. That’s part of it. Got to enjoy the good times.
