New video shows pilots having to abort landings as they battled gale-force winds whilst attempting to land planes at Manchester Airport during the peak of Storm Isha.
The region was battered by gusts of up to 90mph on Sunday as the second named storm of 2024 swept across the country wreacking havoc.

The plane circled over the Irish Sea multiple times before aborting its landing and instead flying 500 miles to Paris Beauvais-Tille Airport. Whilst other flights bound for Ireland were diverted to Manchester.
