Norah Jones has announced that she will be heading on a tour of the UK and Ireland this autumn.The singer-songwriter previously announced a summer tour in Europe, which is due to start this July in Paris and includes dates in Italy, Spain, Portugal and more.The UK and Ireland leg of the tour kicks off at Sage Gateshead on November 4, before heading to Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Bath, Belfast and Dublin. Jones will also headline London’s Palladium on November 11.Tickets for the tour will be on sale this Friday, March 24 at 10am.

The Pretenders have announced a run of shows, which will take place in the UK and Ireland this spring.The band will release their 12th album, ‘Relentless’, later this year, although no release date has been given. Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen was violently attacked outside the Four Seasons hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.According to The Daily Mail, 19-year-old Max Edward Hartley was arrested for the incident, which took place over the weekend.Allen was smoking outside the hotel when Hartley allegedly emerged from behind a pillar and rushed at the drummer, knocking him to the ground.A police report confirmed that Allen “hit his head on the ground causing injury” and that a woman attempted to help, but was attacked by Hartley multiple times and dragged by the hair.Hartley reportedly fled the scene but was eventually arrested after being caught breaking car windows near the hotel. He was charged with two counts of battery, four counts of criminal mischief, and abusing an “elderly or disabled adult.”According to The Daily Mail, Hartley was arrested and taken to Broward County Jail on Tuesday (March 14).

Room, the stage adaptation of the bestselling novel and 2015 film, will not come to Broadway this spring as planned: Producers announced today that the show has been postponed indefinitely “due to a shortfall in capitalization” following the withdrawal of a Lead Producer.

The production was scheduled to begin performances on April 3 at the James Earl Jones Theatre, but it has been postponed indefinitely. “Room,” which was in rehearsal, has shut down as of Thursday, March 16. “In the midst of our rehearsals we were informed by one of our lead producers that due to personal reasons, they did not intend to fulfill their obligations to the production,” said producer Hunter Arnold. “Since being notified, the rest of the producing team has exhausted all possible avenues to keep the show on track, but the narrow timeline and economic shortfall created by this series of events has proven to be insurmountable.”

Discovery has revealed. Warner Bros. was founded by Albert, Sam, Harry and Jack Warner and incorporated on Apr. 4, 1923. The “Superman” rerelease at BFI Southbank and BFI Imax in April will coincide with the 85th anniversary of the character. The rerelease of “The Exorcist” in September will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the horror classic. An Imax version of “Elf” will be released in November. In Ireland, a restored “Cool Hand Luke” screening kicked off the celebrations on Feb. 27, in partnership with the Dublin International Film Festival. The event also featured a Q&A with Oscar-nominated filmmaker Lenny Abramson, discussing the impact of the film as a key influence on his career.
