A man and a woman who were found dead in neighbouring flats have been named as David Harry and Monika Eisen.
An investigation is underway after the two bodies were discovered on Princess Road in Moss Side on Saturday (April 23). Police were first called to the scene at around 4.20pm to reports a woman had been found dead by her neighbour.
Just under three hours later, officers were then called to a neighbouring flat over a concern for the welfare of a man. Paramedics then discovered a man dead inside.

As investigations continue at the scene today (Monday), a spokesperson for Manchester Coroners' Court confirmed that records of both Mr Harry's death and Ms Eisen's death have been made with the coroner.
Touching tributes have been left at the scene outside the flats, near to the junction with Bowes Street, for both the man and woman. Police tape remains in place at the scene near to the Little Rock restaurant.
The last update issued Greater Manchester Police in the early hours of Sunday stated that 'direct third-party physical involvement' had been ruled out and that there was no wider risk to the community. Investigations are ongoing into the cause of death of both the man and woman.
In a statement issued to the Manchester Evening News yesterday, Cadent gas confirmed there were 'no issues' with the gas related infrastructure in either property.
