An inquest has been opened into a man found dead in Stockport.
Martin Christy, 46, was found dead in Reddish Vale Country Park on April 1. He was identified by police using a UK passport containing his details and a photograph.
An inquest into his death was formally opened by assistant coroner Lauren Costello at Manchester South Coroner’s Court on Thursday (April 21). It heard how Mr Christy, who was married and worked as a plasterer, was originally born in Norfolk but lived in Stockport at the time of his death.
He was found hanged, the hearing heard. The inquest has been adjourned until September 21.
