Major changes are coming to school buses across Greater Manchester next WEEK

There are going to be changes to school bus services in nine of Greater Manchester’s 10 boroughs, transport chiefs have announced. The new services come into effect from next Monday (April 25).
Transport for Greater Manchester says the changes will affect a total of 22 schools in Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan. More information is available on their website.

Ladybridge High School
From Monday 25 April 2022, services 917 and 918 are being withdrawn and replaced by 573 and 574 services. Services 573 and 574 will no longer enter school grounds.
St James Church of England High School
From Monday 25 April 2022, service 939 will be operated by Vision Bus. No changes will be made to the route, timetable or fares.
Sharples School
From Monday 25 April 2022, services 929 will be withdrawn and replaced by 537 services. Both dedicated school bus services operate to and from the school.
Parrenthorn High School
From Monday 25 April 2022, services 891 and 892 are being withdrawn and replaced by services 90 and 94.
Blue Coat School
From Monday 4 April 2022, the dedicated 125, 126, 127, 558, 805, 823 and 893 school bus services operate to and from the school.
Crompton House School
From Monday 25 April, the 408, 435 and 935 services will be replaced with the 402, R9 and R10 services.
North Chadderton School
From Monday 25 April, the 832 service will be withdrawn and replaced by the 402 service.
Royton and Crompton School
From Monday 25 April, the 830 service will be replaced by the 402 bus service.
