TOWIE’s Clelia Theodorou has spoken of her pain after undergoing more surgery following the horror car crash that killed her mum. The 29 year old reality TV star was left wheelchair-bound following the tragic accident - which happened while she was pregnant with her first child. While Clelia and her unborn baby survived the smash, the TOWIE star’s mum Gill died.
Clelia - who gave birth to her 'miracle' daughter Cici in September - was left with two broken legs and two broken feet following the accident in May. She has since undergone a number of operations to help her walk again - including another one which she posted about on social media on Tuesday, 20 December. Sharing a picture of her in a hospital bed, she wrote: "Another surgery completed.
Hopefully fully on the way to being able to walk properly soon. "I'm in a lot of pain, but had to be done. I had some of my metal rods removed in my foot and leg.
Will have to have more removed as well, but for now this should get me to where I need to be for walking again." In a second picture that showed her recovering at home in front of the TV, she added: "Thank you for your kind messages. Suffering with the pain but on the road to recovery." Clelia previously said life will "never be the same" after suffering the devastating grief of losing her mum in the car crash. At the time, she wrote: "The person I never, ever wanted to say goodbye to.
"Who loved me unconditionally, the pure definition of a mother's love." She added: "My heart will never heal from this, life will never ever be the same.
