Police have released a fresh appeal for help to track down three masked burglars who burst into an elderly woman's home on Christmas Eve.
The terrifying incident happened on Saxon Street, off Bradford Road in Miles Platting, at around 6pm on December 24. The victim, a pensioner who was celebrating her 77th birthday on the day, was watching TV when she heard a loud bang as three men smashed their way through the rear patio doors of her house.
One of the masked intruders forced her to stay in the kitchen with him, while the other two ransacked her home. They fled the scene after around five minutes and the terrified victim called the police.

The burglars took her handbag containing £50 cash, her bank card, her bus pass and a number of other personal items. She is now being supported by officers.
Police said no arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing to try and track down the three suspects. As part of a fresh appeal issued today (January 2), the force released a number of CCTV images of people they want to speak to.
Anyone who recognises them is being urged to get in touch. Police also want to speak to anyone who saw them in the Miles Platting area before the burglary, or who has any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage.
