This is the terrifying moment ferocious waves from Storm Babet smash through the window of a Scots restaurant.
In the shocking clip, a giant wave comes crashing through the window next to a table in the Old Chain Pier on Newhaven Road in Edinburgh and gushes into the restaurant.
There were over a dozen customers in the restaurant when the incident took place at 8pm on Friday October 20, with the fire brigade called out to the scene.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Jan Watson, the manager said: "It happened last night at about 7pm, the owner and Natalia took a video just as the huge wave just came roaring in and smashed right through the window.
"The owner was there standing next to her, he got hit on the back of the head as a plant pot got thrown across the room. Then the fire brigade was in last night and put a wooden panel over the window at 8pm but by the time we came in today, it had been smashed in again.
"We are used to huge waves but we've never had this much structural damage before or seen anything like this in a long time."
She continued: "There were still around 15 customers in when that happened, the brave ones enjoying the atmosphere of the storm. A few folks got a fright and there were some soggy shoes but the people knew there was a chance of that happening and were there at their own risk.
"I've been watching the tide times and it seems to be getting better so we are hoping to be open for 5pm tonight.
Dozens of social media users couldn't believe the damage caused by the waves and sent well wishes to the restaurant.
Anita Carr said: "Devastating for you, hopefully, repairs will be quickly finished."
Jillian Carnie said: "Thank god no one was sitting there when that happened. Hope your insurance covers the repair
