Storm Babet has been causing disruptive weather all across the coast in the UK.
One strange phenomenon from the unsettled weather was caught on camera, showing the moment a village was covered in sea foam that was whipped up by strong winds. The footage, which was captured by local Stonehaven Beach resident Fiona Daun, sees building blanketed by the sea foam, almost appearing to be a wintery snow scene.
Ms Daun, 62, said she was checking on her late father's home on the seafront when she was faced by the strange scene. She noted that the winds were so strong she had to grip onto lamp posts to keep her balance, the Daily Record reports.

Speaking to the Record, Fiona explained: "My late father died just a few weeks ago and he has a house on the seafront. After a sleepless night I went down at 6.30am to see if his house was okay. I had fitted the flood gate and placed sandbags at the front door but thankfully the wall in front of his garden prevented the water coming into his house.
"I have stayed in Stonehaven for over 36 years and never seen waves as strong as this. The beach front was absolutely awful this morning due to the high winds and debris everywhere. I had to hang on to a lamp post at certain points and came home as soon as the checks were done."
It comes after the Met Office issued a brand new red warning in anticipation of more disturbed weather conditions over the weekend. Unprecedented flooding in Scotland resulted in the death of a 57-year-old woman on Thursday after she was swept into a river.
