Stranger Things fans spot same spoiler as Netflix gives series five update

Stranger Things fans reckon they've spotted a spoiler after Netflix finally gave an update on the smash hit show.
The streamer announced production was underway on Stranger Things' fifth and final season, teasing a photo of the cast alongside creators The Duffer Brothers. Netflix confirmed in a tweet: "THIS IS A CODE RED... STRANGER THINGS 5 production has officially begun!!!"
The American sci-fi drama took viewers by storm when it first debuted in 2016. Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, the first series followed a young group of children who experience a series of supernatural mysteries as they set out to discover what was behind them.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on the show after production on the fifth season was delayed due to last year's Hollywood strikes. The fourth season released in summer 2022, meaning fans have been kept waiting a while now.
The last series finished up on a number of cliff-hangers, but eagle-eyed fans reckon one has been solved already. Max, played by actress Sadie Sink, was left in critical condition in hospital following her final fight with Vecna.
