A Scots primary school has been closed after a police probe was launched into an incident close to the building.
St Patrick's Primary School in Greenock, Inverclyde, is off-limits this morning after Drumfrochar Road, the street outside the school, was locked down.
Pupils were asked to attend other schools following an incident. Broomhill Street and Cornhaddock Street were also shut off at the junction with Drumfrochar Road.
Police Scotland has been approached for comment. Inverclyde Council revealed the closures on social media, posting on both Facebook and X.

The Facebook post read: "Due to a police incident near St Patrick's Primary, the school is closed today, Monday 27 November 2023.
"P1-6 should report to Whinhill Primary and P7 to Notre Dame High instead. Drumfrochar Road is also closed due to the police cordon.
"Access to Whinhill Primary is via Murdieston Street. School meals will be provided and the school day will finish for St Patrick's
