Rod Stewart - who recently collaborated with Jools Holland on a new album - has called out Prime Minister Rishi Sunak regarding MRI scans.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, the star put the NHS and its strikes at centre stage in a bid to pay for patients' MRI scans.
The 78-year-old has been left frustrated at the lack of progress from the Government.
He addressed the Prime Minister personally on Wednesday morning.
He said: "Rishi, Rod Stewart and Jools Holland here, I personally would like to reach out and help people with scans that can't afford it, any city in the world I'll rent the scan van and I'll pay for it."
Rod also used his platform in a bid to highlight the current cost of living crisis.
He said: "I can't ever remember it being this bad, mothers can't afford to feed their children, it's just unbelievable."
Rod's comments come after the government unveiled a deal with the body representing Britain's pharmaceutical industry stating it would give patients better access to medicine and treatments.
The Maggie May star also touched on the war in Ukraine.
He told GMB: "I would like us to keep backing Ukraine and don't pull out, give them everything they want."
The pair appeared on the show to promote their new 13-track album, which includes new single Almost Like Being In Love.
The album - which sees the unlikely duo accompanied by Jools’ Rhythm & Blues Orchestra - is out on February 23 and features Jools and Rod's take on classic big band numbers.
