Sir Rod Stewart is known for his blonde barnet, love for Scotland and his wacky wardrobe and his most recent social media post definitely combines all three.
The Maggie May rocker took to Instagram to share a festive snap with his 1.4 million followers where he stood in front of a huge Christmas tree which was beautifully decorated with red and gold baubles.
The singer stood beside the spectacular tree and in true Rod fashion, he donned a tartan waistcoat, with red trousers, a traditional Scottish sporran and some expensive Gucci rubber boots, which certainly put Santa's to shame!
Alongside the post, Rod penned the caption: "No Scotland no party#sporran#scotland#christmas#hogmanay."
And many fans were loving his choice of outfit, however some say he should have went all out and donned a kilt.
One penned: "Merry Christmas. God bless, sir, Rod and the Stewart family."
Another added: "Weet a weel Roderick, No Scotland, no paarrrtttty."
While one said: "Would prefer you had a skirt on Dearest Rod."
Another said: "Rod Stewart a very cool dude."
While one added: "That tree is spectacular! Loving your tartan waistcoat and jacket too!"
"Such a festive outfit," another penned.
The 78-year-old is always proud to showcase his Scottish roots and just this year released his own brand ofcotch whisky Wolfies.
Speaking previously to People Magazine, he said: " "I have a lot of Scottish blood in me having a Scottish father, and I'm proud of my Scottish heritage.
"Whisky is the number one drink from Scotland. I wouldn't say it was a natural move — I didn't use to drink it, but I do now. I've actually fallen in love with whisky, and I like it in cocktails."
